2- Order trophies and check supply of ribbons.
3- Order Tags for runners to wear.
4 Weeks 1- Soliciting volunteers for registration, aid stations,
road marshalling, finish line.
2- Notify city officials, police, parks, etc.
2 Weeks 1- Notify Hearld Journal, Cache Citizen, USU Statesman.
2- Notify radio stations.
3- Distribute flyers, posters, etc.
1 Week 1- Check venue is ready--restrooms, tables, etc.
2- Check finish line equipment--clocks, timer, etc.
3- Prepare registration forms for race day.
4- Prepare course mapes.
5- Prepare paper work for recording results.
6- Confirm volunteers.
7- Pick up t-shirts.
8- Prepare system of recording times and places at finish line.
1 or 2 Days 1- Measure and mark course. Start, finish, miles, and turns.
2- Buy refreshments and paper cups.
3- Get cash to make change at registration time.
4- Decide how to hold drawings.
5- Get clocks and equipment.
6- Pick up preregistration.
7- Assemble packets for preregistration.
8- Talk with volunteers about assignments.

10 mins. 1- Check that clock and timer are ready.
2- Check that course marshalls are in place.
5 mins. 1- Assemble runners at start line.
2- Make announcements about the course.
0 1- Start runners and timing devices.
During Race 1- Check finish line crew is ready.
2- Record results as runners finish.
3- Work out and note age group winners.
Awards Ceremony 1- Thank sponsors, volunteers, and runners.
2- Announce overall and age group winners.
3- Present trophies and ribbons.
4- Raffle prizes.
5- Announce next club race.
6- Invite people to join club.
After awards 1- Clean up.
2- Drive course to pick up signs.
3- Return equipment to storage shed.
4- Compile results and deliver them to newspaper.
5- Fill out Race Report Form and turn in receipts to secratary/treasurer.
6- Go for a long run and relax.
